What is a Private CT Report?

A private CT (computed tomography) report is a formal written interpretation of your CT scan, produced by a consultant radiologist. The report describes anatomy and any abnormalities visible on the cross-sectional images and provides clear clinical conclusions.

At Doctorum, every CT report is produced by a UK GMC-registered consultant radiologist with at least 15 years of experience. Our radiologists are sub-specialised by body system - so a CT chest is reported by a thoracic radiologist, a CT abdomen by a body imaging specialist, and so on.

Reports are returned within 24-48 hours via secure encrypted delivery, ready to share with your GP, treating clinician or insurer.
