Receive your images
Once released by the imaging department, your images are delivered to you securely. They are yours to keep, share, or send to us for a report.
Want a specialist consultant to read them too?
Add a formal written report from a leading UK consultant - alongside your retrieval or at any time afterwards. The report is paid separately from the £50 retrieval fee: for example, £200 for an MRI report plus £50 for retrieval.
Reports are fixed price - £200 for MRI and CT, £95 for ultrasound and X-ray - and delivered within 24-48 hours. No GP referral required.
Common Questions
Do I have to order a report as well?
No. This is a standalone service. Many people simply want a copy of their scans and images for their own records or to take elsewhere. A consultant report is entirely optional - if you would like one, it is paid separately from the £50 retrieval fee.
Can I add retrieval to a report?
Yes. If you order a consultant report and would like us to obtain your images for it, retrieval is £50 on top of the report fee - for example, £200 for an MRI report plus £50 for retrieval (£250 in total). The report and the retrieval are paid as two separate payments.
Which hospitals can you retrieve from?
Any NHS hospital or trust in the UK. The same right of access also applies to private hospitals and imaging centres - contact us if your scan was done privately and we will confirm.
How long does it take?
Hospitals are legally required to respond within one calendar month, and whilst most will release to Doctorum in 1-2 days, we can also retrieve within hours for emergencies. The timescale is set by the hospital and is outside our control, but we chase on your behalf to keep things moving.
Will this affect my NHS care?
No. Requesting a copy of your images does not change your NHS referral, appointments or treatment in any way. It is entirely separate from your NHS pathway, but faster.
